Underlay TT

The Underlay TT manages humidity, sweat, heat, and odour inside the socket. Available in Open or Closed versions, Underlay TT is worn under the liner. Its open-ended version keeps the liner in contact with the skin to maintain suspension while extending beyond the liner to allow airflow and natural evaporation.

The Underlay TT “closed” version delivers the same moisture-management and antimicrobial performance with a sealed distal end. It can be preferred for patients with more bulbous limb shapes, and for clinicians who want to avoid any impact from the open distal edge on fit or skin contact.

Measuring Guide

To determine the most suitable size for the patient, measure the circumference at 10 cm from distal end. Then measure the length of the trimmed liner.

*Please note: When measuring for Underlay TT, the proximal circumference at the top of the trimmed liner (measured on the skin) should also be measured after the distal circumference.

After choosing the size via the distal circumference measurement, if the proximal circumference is equal or greater than the following measurements, the open version of the Underlay TT should be avoided to prevent the Underlay TT being too tight against the residual limb.
