The Ortho Europe lock range offers three simple locks to provide secure connection between a prosthesis and a locking liner.
The Plain Lock is a lightweight system with a low build height, and an 8mm stainless steel pin with adjustable nut to eliminate pistoning noise. This unique design makes it possible to fine-tune the position of the pin in relation to the locking mechanism, and its button release mechanism can be cut to its user’s desired length.
The Shuttle Lock is designed to be used with a one hit laminate build, and is available in two different models: a modular version which is interchangeable, and an integrated version which is fully secured in the socket. This lock system has an integrated titanium pyramid, which provides an angle of ±6° in the sagittal and coronal plane. Its button release mechanism can be cut to the desired length, and its adjustable locking nut eliminated pistoning noise.
The Clutch Lock was designed to be used alongside a 3-prong threaded adaptor for lamination (as pictured), which is included with the lock. This lock system has an integrated titanium male pyramid distally, providing an angulation of ±6° in the sagittal and frontal plane. The Clutch Lock system comes with a screw-in-sleeve adaptor.
