	Silipos Care Instructions
	These instructions should be applied to all Silipos Products. • it is very important that the product should be washed after each use, especially those products that have the polymer gel touching directly onto the skin. This is because if the product is not washed, then there is a buildup on the surface of the gel of dead skin, bacteria from the skin, oils, perspiration etc, and if the product is placed back on the skin, this can cause a skin reaction. • Hand wash, in warm, soapy water, preferably not a perfumed or anti-bacterial soap (anti-bacterial soaps tend to leave a residue, which stays on the surface of the gel, and can actually cause irritation). • Totally immerse the product in the warm soapy water, gently clean both the outside and the inside of the product - don't scrub the gel. • Rinse clean the product in warm clean water. • If the product has exposed gel, gently dry the gel with a lint-free cloth or towel. Do not leave the product with gel side facing out - leave the product as it is worn, with the gel on the inside, the material on the outside. Leave to air-dry on top of a towel, or hang to dry (don't place a peg over the gel). Don't place the product near heat, other than in an airing cupboard or similar. • Leave the product to dry, until the outer fabric is absolutely dry - if you put the product on before the fabric is absolutely dry then the gel is more likely to delaminate from the fabric. • In certain products, e.g. Mineral Oil roll-on, the gel has been dusted with a talcum powder (to prevent the gel sticking together when first packaged). It is advisable to wash the product before first wearing it.
