Alpha Cushion and Locking Liners

An off the shelf range of socket interfaces designed to suit a wide range of limb sizes and shapes - both transtibial and transfemoral.

Alpha is NOT a Silicone Liner

The inner gel is a blend of thermoplastic elestomer and mineral oil, which absorbs the forces applied to the residual limb.

The gel flows from areas of high pressure to areas of low pressure - simply take the cast, reduce the volume by approximately 5% and let the el do the rest - no further rectification is required and the gel will conform to constant changes in shape and volume during daily wear. The hypoallergenic mineral oil actually CONDITIONS the skin.

Donning is easy with no lubrication or powders required.

Alpha liners are available as the ORIGINAL with more durable outer fabric layer, the SPIRIT which has a more flexible outer fabric layer allowing easier donning and doffing as well as easier knee flexion, and the new MAX Liner which has a new outer one way stretch fabric which limits vertical pistoning movements. The one way stretch fabric is also used to cover Alpha Transfemoral Liners.
